Opportunity for individuals with Celiac to give online feedback on gluten-free offering

We are being asked if any of us want to take a survey about products that a client of InnosightLLC is working on.

Before I sent this to you I emailed Curtis and asked questions. So the first part of this email is the answers to my questions, then it is followed with his letter about asking us if we want to participate. Everyone will be doing this individually. I will do it tomorrow.

Hey Tenny,

Those are very good questions. To address them.

. There is not a GF product just yet – what people will be looking at is a website. People will browse through the website and look at the different offerings. Some of the offerings are products (so, yes, people will be looking at early concepts of the packaging), and other offerings are GF services (which people will see when they access the website, but to give you sense, are things like online forums and such).

. By different versions of a concept, I mean that we will be adapting the concept into different iterations based on what people tell us they like. So depending on when people sign up, they might see different versions of the concept.

. People would be answering one survey, once. They will be asked to answer this survey as early as this weekend or as late as a few months from now. We’re just looking for willing volunteers who will be put on a list of potential participants to be contacted for a survey.

Does this help to answer some of your questions and clarify things? I totally sympathize that the message is worded a bit vaguely, but due to our client’s desires to keep the concept confidential until it enters the market, we can’t reveal too much – I hope you understand!

Hi Tenny,

Hope this email finds you well! I’m reaching out to you given your work with San Gabriel Valley Celiac Support Group. I work for Innosight, an innovation consulting firm that is currently conducting research and exploring new business ideas on behalf of a consumer products company that is looking to improve the range of gluten-free products that are available and the ease of access to those products.

We hope that members of your group with Celiac would be interested in reviewing a very early stage Web-based mock-up of a gluten-free product and service offering that our client company may develop, and then taking an online survey to provide feedback. Participants who review this Beta version would be asked not to share the website or its contents with others.

We will be testing different versions of the concept over the next few weeks and possibly months. I would work with those in your group who are interested in participating and schedule them to review a version. The time it takes for an individual to review the web offering and fill out a feedback form should be only about 15-30 minutes.

So far we’ve been encouraged to find very receptive feedback participants in the Celiac community – we think that this feedback opportunity will be a great way for the Celiac community to shape an offering that could benefit them in the future!

Would you please pass this invitation along to all/some of your members and have them contact me directly at cchan@innosight.com? In addition, feel free to contact me with any questions and/or if you know of anyone else who is interested in participating.

Thank you!!

Curtis
